de TEJEDORES: A Gathering of Weavers
The Sacred Valley, Peru
Nov. 5-8, 2010
Tinkuy de Tejedores
("tinkuy" means "gathering" in Quechua,
the native language of the Peruvian highlands) will occur
in the Sacred Valley near Cusco on November 5–8, 2010.
This event, focusing on weavers and their cultural traditions,
is organized by The Center of Traditional Textiles of Cusco
(CTTC) with the support of Andean Textile Arts.
